hey everyone =)
yup carol's right..we really must keep each other in prayer. today i had discipleship group in school (sort of like a school dg) and i felt really encouraged cos i have a group of christian friends i can grow with in school, although i dont know them that well yet. i have much to learn from them..when i hear them pray and share, i can see that these people really have God in their lives. yup..so thank God for that =)
had maths test today which i think i'll fail though..and i think i totally screwed up my chem practical :S haha but yep in this week where there's like so many tests, God reminded me to set my heart and mind on things above, and not on earthly things ( Col 3:1)
though studies are impt, but God always comes first
haha by the way! i have a really long holiday next week! cos my school decided to reward us with a holiday on friday also! woooohoo =)
i like sea coconut and jelly. hahahaha
haha.. thanks brenda for changing it.. hmm.. think of a nicer name for this blog ya? haha. it's quite horrible now. haha. couldnt think of anything else :)
anyway, i have a prayer request. my grandfather is in hospital now. yup. just moved from ICU to a normal ward today. there's some bleeding in his intestines and it's not a good sign. but thank God that his condition is improving. yup.
let's continue to pray for each other ya? :) hehe. remember that we are supposed to pray for our DG every wednesday and sunday? :) just thought that maybe we can post prayer requests here so that we need not wait for sunday to share it. yup. please feel free to share. so that we might pray for each other :D
and yes, we'll pray for you, liu yi. for your piano exam :D

sth interesting..
Mars is going to be a second moon of earth for a day.
NO ONE ALIVE TODAY WILL EVER SEE THIS AGAIN
The Red Planet (MARS) is about to be spectacular! This month and next, Earth is catching up with Mars in an encounter that will culminate in the closest approach between the two planets in recorded history. The next time Mars may come this close is in 2287. Due to the way Jupiter's gravity tugs on Mars and perturbs its orbit, astronomers can only be certain that Mars has not come this close to Earth in the last 5,000 years, but it may be as long as 60,000 years before it happens again. The encounter will culminate on August 27th when Mars comes to within 34,649,589 miles of Earth and will be (next to the moon) the brightest object in the night sky. It will attain a magnitude of -2.9 and will appear 25.11 arc seconds wide. By August 27, Mars will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye. Mars will be easy to spot. At the beginning of August it will rise in the! east at 10 pm and reach its azimuth at about 3 am by the end of August when the two planets are closest, Mars will rise at nightfall and reach its highest point in the sky at 12.30 am. That's pretty convenient to see something that no human being has seen in recorded history. So, mark your calendar at the beginning of August to see Mars grow progressively brighter and brighter throughout the month.
